About Us

Worship Area Banner We are part of the world-wide Anglican community and value the rich heritage of the Church of England. Members come from across Europe, Asia, Africa and the West Indies and we enjoy our multi-cultural traditions. St John's is a place of worship, prayer and community activities.

Our Sunday Services are at 10.30 am. For more information see Services.

Aspects of our life and witness have been described in our monthly church magazine Pilgrimage.  The publication of our April (Easter) 2020 edition was the last until further notice. We now have a monthly online news-sheet called The Aldborough.

Our parish is part of the Chelmsford Diocese which covers the whole of Essex and five East London Boroughs.    (www.chelmsford.anglican.org)

We now have a new Bishop of Chelmsford.
Please see our sub-page: Introducing our new Bishop of Chelmsford.
